Final Fantasy VII on PS3?

I saw the trailer for this and it looked amazing. This was one of my favortie games I ever played and the thought of a remake on a next-gen system like PS3 is honestly one of the most exciting possibilities for me as a gamer. The story pulled you in and kept you wondering what could be next. The music helped tell the amazing story and really played to your emotions. And the gameplay was one of the best systems (materia) I have ever seen for an RPG. If you couldn't tell already, I am a big fan.

Arena Fun

So, i decided to play a little endless again today and discovered it had snowed in aeven. Always nice to be in the Christmas spirit. I didn't feel like training and was enjoying talking with people in my guild so i went to arena and killed a bunch of kings. I even soloed one myself to find out they give 150exp now. kinda cool. Then i decided to get some cool clothes and go fight in arena. Here's a screenie. It was fun except for the speeders ruining it.

Battle for Middle Earth

So, I haven't been on much lately because I haven't gotten pretty bored with Endless. However, I usually get bored with other things and come back to endless eventually, and I have no doubt this will happen again. In the meantime, I am enjoying a very fun strategy game called "Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth". I have it on the PC and it is just a blast. You get to pretty mich re-live all the moments from the movies. My favorite battle in the game is the battle for Helm's Deep because when it starts, you are pretty much screwed so it is intense as well as fun, then you call in reinforcements and get to kick some Urukai(orcs) asses. So, when I'm not on EO, I have been playing a fun game for xbox 360 called Fight Night Round 3. This game is very addicting and also just hilarious sometimes. Give it a try if you're bored sometime. Also, I love boxing and I even train sometimes at the gym so maybe i'm a little bias here but most people I talk to enjoy this game.

Catharsis

Catharsis is defined as a purging of emotions, more prominantly the emotions of anger, fear, anxiety, malaise, and excitement. Catharsis is exactly where I am trying to get to currently, in response to my resolve to quit or exact revenge upon the EO community. I have moved past the anger stage and instead of being mad at anyone in particular, I have decided to just be mad at the situation. I will not resort to cheating nor will I quit the game entirely, the last time I took and extended vacation left me too far behind and the thought of doing so again is irritating. Knob Drop Missed

So after spending the last week or so at Apozen trying to get a decent drop, i finally saw him drop something other than gold for the first time since Hell was brought back in v.25. It was me and some other lvl 20 kid and we brought Apo all the way down to red. Then Qvackis shows up, kills a couple imps while we are hitting Apo, then walks over and shoots apo and gets the kill. And guess what drops? A Knob staff. So furious was I that I swore on my guild chat(which i never do). This was honeslty the last straw. Some jerk who probably got higher level than me by using a speeder comes and kill steals Apo and then gets a knob staff when I have never even seen one drop before? He already has a scav bow and i'm sure plenty of gold from scamming and getting other drops from speeding. Fuck it, I think i'm gonna quit because the only way I can compete with these speeding assholes now is to speed as well and I refuse to do that. I have never used a cheat before and I'm not putting my computer at risk to do so over this un-moderated game full of assholes. I might play test but that is annoying too becuase it took me over a year to get where I am in level on main and I don't think i wanna invest that kinda time again on this game. Until further notice, you will not see me in game but I will try to keep up on this blog...

There are so many great quotes from this movie but I decide to go with this one since it is more closely related to my last quote on equality. The movie, though more celebrated for it's great fight scenes, is actually very philosophical in it points out that America is a consumer economy and people get so wrapped up in their "stuff" that after a while, you don't own your stuff, your stuff owns you. I've added a new component to my blog, a quote of the day section that I will try to keep up with everyday. If you really like a particular quote, let me know and I'll put it back up or maybe make it a permanent part of the blog. Today's quote is by Thomas Hobbes and I thought it was a good quote to start with because it relates to EO in that it talks about equality and strength and how even though someone may be bigger or stronger than someone else, (or higher lvl in EO) they are still equals in that they could still kill them by some other means or could gather strength in numbers to defeat that enemy. So, the point is that all men are equal in the state of nature, but government is the only reason anyone can have more power than someone else.

All these would be craftable at a new NPC called known as the Archeaologist who will be located somewhere deep into Dizzy Desert. His Quest will be of moderate difficulty, mostly it would be to talk to a few other NPCs then acquire an ancient lost item he's been searching for. (this would be something untradeable and only used for this quest, like the Treasure map for the Pirate Quest).

Halloween is a great holliday, everyone gets to dress up and act like a goofball and its considered acceptable behavior. For girls, they get to dress slutty and get away with it, and guys get to stare at them and get away with it because its Halloween. So, go out, dress up, get drunk and get laid. Enjoy halloween for what it is, an excuse to get drunk.

Rexor Event

Correction: Rexor helped Vegas put on a Global event, the items were coincidentaly items needed for the Wraith quest since Vegas already has a wraith key(This is comfirmed by Paperclip as I remember him telling me how much it cost to get all the items needed to finish the quest). Prize was 300K. It was a fair event but way too hard unless you already had all the ingredients or bought them really fast. On the bright side, its nice to see admins on doing some good for the community. Both Rexor and Teror were on for a while today. Maybe they finally got the hint that the game needs moderators.

New Guild

So, after about a week of not being in a guild, I finally got in touch with Nezlo and joined PX. To my surprise, there were some people who I used to know in that guild that had made new characters so its nice to finally be in a guild with some people i know, instead of trying to fit in with a bunch of speeding newbs. Well Everyone, I'm back on EO and I've decided to remake my blog. I think it will be more fun this time around as there are more stupid things going on in EO now than there was before. So, when i left i was level 29 and in the guild EMW but when i returned after 6 months away, the guild was abandoned. On that note, I have tried to join a couple guilds since being back and none have really impressed me. I would like to join PX since that most closely resembles what I'm used to for a guild. I came back and leveled up to lvl 32 now but I'm in no way concerned about trying to get back into the top 100 ( I was all the way up to 48th at one point). The speeding has gotten out of control and looked like it was gonna start going away when Arvid started walling everyone, but then Vult-r came on and released them all. This just proves my original point that if you want it to stop, you gotta delete a character whos cheating in order to get them to stop. Ok, well i guess that's it for now, I'll keep ya updated as things happen. Also, if anyone is curious as to what i was doing when i quit EO for 6 months, part of is was playing Xbox 360 but most of it was playing a new game called Tales of Pirates (www.talesofpirates.com). I have a high lvl account on there with lots of gold but i stopped playing because the game is very anti-social, i usually trained alone and most people just come on a set a stall to sell stuff while afk. Good game, addicting but after a while i got tired of it.

Gone Walkabout

So, I've taken a long break from EO, i haven't been on in like 3 weeks. I've been really busy with college, work, and other things. But, in all honesty I got really bored with EO. I mean, my character is level 26, I have all the weapons and armors i really want. I have plenty of gold (well sort of, you can never really have enough). So, I just got bored with leveling or trying to make money. I don't think this is the end, i hear there is a new version coming out at some point with weapon stats and kill-steal protection. The weapon stats sounds like a good idea, but the kill-lock thing doesn't. I take pride in being a great kill-stealer. Oh-well, I'll guess I'll just adjust to it. Ok, time to go. Sometime soon I'll stop in so if you catch me on say hi. Later.

The New Haunted House

I love the new HH. The 3rd floor is good for exp, when I'm alone its 10K+ per hour. At the same time, its easy to die because wraiths appear right next to you sometimes and the hit 12s fast. Which is good because it kills off the newbs. 4th floor is even better for exp with the cursed masks giving 140exp. problem is, the TP drain. You lose TP so fast that you have to use a pot every 4-5 kills. So, it gets expensive there. I still like hanging out at the gnoll, I currently have male archery and soccery for sale if you are interested pm me in the game. Still in SAV, still satisfied with it so no change anytime soon. It was funny yesterday when Oursavior came on and booted blazingwolf and karshemia from SAV. I'm not sure why, apparently he doesn't like them. Oh well. OK, 50K tnl til lvl 26 so I'm gonna get back to it.

Version 26

Well, the new version is finally out and after playing it off and on this week i figured I'd give a little review of it. First off, the quests. I liked the pirate quest and pjedro's son quest, the pjedro one was much easier but the pirate one was more fun. I'm really disappointed though, if I knew i couldn't go back to the pyramids, i would never have completed the quest so i could go train there. Oh, well. I like the new armors, Archery and Soccery. I have gotten both and sold both already (i kick ass at the gnoll).
I reached lvl 25 now and have cooled off on leveling and decided now that im high level enough, I'm going to spend time making some money. So you won't see me at factory or HH all that often but i will be hanging out at the Gnoll, Octo, Ninjas, maybe Apozen if i'm felling froggy. I've already made 200K since the new version came out and i plan on making it over a mil (without selling my Dark Blade xD). Once in a while i might go on an exp binge if i get bored but not too often. This should also mean I'll be more available to talk, so if we havent talked on EO in a while feel free to pm me and come hang out. (pms were hard to answer at factory).
Guild wise I'm still in SAV, although i really never see many people on from SAV. I almost want to go guild less again and test the market, but then again, i like the quiet most of the time. leave some comments if you have any suggestions on this matter. Ok, gotta go. Happy Hunting.

An Offer I Couldn't Refuse

I haven't been on EO for a few days and probably won't be on til v.26 comes out or maybe even a little after that. Unlike most people who start a post like this, I'm not taking a break because I'm being all EMO and shit. The only reason in all honesty is because i bought an Xbox 360 the other day and have been playing "The Godfather". This game is awesome in case you were wondering. It plays along with the movie very nicely but it also has so much to do outside the main plot line. The game is similar to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in its game play but, in my opinion, is way more brutal and violent. There are over 100 different ways to execute someone and each one is awesome in its own way. Your tasks include extorting businesses, whacking other gangsters, and robbing banks, just to name a few. So, sorry everyone for just disappearing like i did. I'll be back, i promise. BTW, congrats to Highlands and Bellajar. Sorry i missed the wedding.

Today/recently i have been having some positive things and negative things going on in eo. Lets start with the good...I met some cool new people. One is Bellajar, who is really fun to hang out with and doesn't mind the fact that I've become kind of a jerk to people on EO. The other is Kaiiri who i somehow never met even though she is lvl 19 and in the same guild as me...0.o.

Oh and i also kicked ass in the 3-4 hours i played today gaining 35k exp. Ok, now the not so good stuff. For some reason neorandy is mad at me. He started following me around so i asked why are you following me? His response: "cuz u a fuk kser". So not only does he have bad spelling but he accused me of kill stealing from him when in fact i never did. I was competing with Deathboytwo at factory and neo tried to ks my crane so i made sure i got it. Obviously he was upset. In the ensuing kser battle i took 5 of 7 cranes, 4 of 6 cytos, and a proto. This only made him more mad so he tried to block me so i'd die. I eventually left after he stopped responding to my taunting. I asked guild chat what was up with neorandy being anally retentive only to find i wasn't the only one he was getting mouthy with. katalla and oursavior also had a beef with him so my behavior was encouraged. This is why i love SAV. Well, gotta go...i have 2 exams tomorrow but i still wanna get some EO time in before bed. Happy hunting

The Dark Side

I have officially joined the dark side. After a few days of vigorous training at the factory, i have had to resort to many different methods of revenge on other players who like to kill steal from me, or lure cranes to me to make me have to abandon my tactical positions at factory. Some of these methods are simple, like just ksing back. Other times i have to resort to killing people off with cranes. I feel bad about it, but it really pisses me off when other players show no respect to me, so i show them no respect in return. I finally leveled today. Level 24 is great, but now i have 239k tnl...

Also, in a move that was not planned, i decided to leave BL (it didn't really work out, i didn't know anyone but llaw, and he isn't on very often.) and joined SAV. SAV is fun because its lvl 20+ so everyone in the guild is experienced and there are a lot of friends of mine there. I also like it because no one cares that i have joined the dark side in this guild, since there are no rules. This does not mean i will use hacks(speed, ghost) as i never have and never will. Ok, time to go. I hope everyone enjoys reading my blog...however the only one who ever reads it that I know of is Kat but whatever...lol.

Changes

Well, my stay in PX was short lived. There are a few reasons why, none are really all that serious but I guess I could elaborate. First off, I didn' t really know too many people in the guild and, more importantly, no one knew me. Second off, after my 'trial time' ended i got 5th rank in the guild. Now, i was a leader in HOJ and BIR, i'm lvl 23 and i was only given rank 5? I wasn't expecting recruiter or anything but I would think a lvl 23 would at least be ranked 3rd. Anyway, the real reason i left was a run-in I had with an old friend. Llaw and I were leaders in HOJ together and he told me that Snafoo had made him a leader of BL(bluelunatics). So after a litlle chat with him, i decided to join BL and I am a recruiter for them. I am really glad to see Llaw back, and i think this guild will be a good fit for me. Ok, back to leveling...halfway to lvl 24 =D

New Chapter

I decided to join a guild finally. After many offers (WSA, BL, BIR, and a few others) I chose to go with the one I wanted to join the day it was created: PX. When i was in MNM, all of the people i talked with and hung out with are the ones who left and created PX. So i'm really glad to be able to see them more often.

On another note, i leveled recently. I'm lvl 23 now and am trying to maintain getting at least 10k in exp every day so that i can level in roughly 2 weeks. Some days this comes easy, like when i come on in the morning and there are only 400 people on...but sometimes its tough, like when i have too much homework or classes become tedious. I recently discovered from reading other blogs that my former Co-Leader/Co-Creator of BIR has joined SAV and brought it back to life by recruiting people fast. I haven't been able to talk to her in over a week so i wanted to say goodluck to Katalla and I'll see you around when we both have the time.

Guilds

Today i had a talk with Katalla, a friend who i created BIR with. She told me she was leaving the guild which would leave myself and Highlands as guild leaders. Well, i decided i didn't want it to be that way so i left the guild as well. The reason i made the guild (and left HOJ) was so i could see if we could run a guild on our own. Well, it worked ok for a little while until i went back to school and didn't have as much time. So, we made Highlands a leader. He has done a excellent job at recuiting and i wish him well with the guild. As for me, i am still playing EO when i can. However, i will not be re-joining BIR or HOJ, or any guild for that matter for a while. I am taking a break from it. If you see me on, i'll be focused on training as i really need to level soon, its been over 3 weeks now since i made lvl 22...

New Blog

I've noticed a lot of people have been starting blogs, and i figured I'd join in on the fun. So i finally got back to EO today after a long break. College has been really demanding the first couple weeks...you know homework, beer, work, beer, girls, beer....well u get the idea. I will resume my quest for exp as usual, although i wont be able to pull in 40-60k exp days like i did in the summer...i just don't have that kind of time anymore.

On another note, the guild BIR that i created with Katalla is going really well, we made Highlands a leader and we keep growing in size daily. I think its because our guild is mostly high-level people who are sick of the drama involved with other guilds. Also, we don't allow speeders which are becoming a huge annoyance to everyone in EO.

Today, for example, i was trying to train at my favorite spot in hell. Normally, i get along fine with the player who was already there (Booooth). But today, he had his speeder on. I'm not sure how he does it but he was also using ghost. After i got a few kills he decided to try and block me after luring the skull over to me. Now i don't know if this pisses anyone else off, but I'm really sick of it. Then after getting bored with running in circles with Booooth, i went to hell boss. i get there and there were 4 speeders running around in there. I had 2 imps kill stolen in the first 3 minutes, then had someone name Dizjokerkid using a super speeder to try and block me so I'd die. So, i hope others get fed up with this and maybe something will eventually get done.

I'll try to keep this up to date as much as possible,but right now i wanna get back to doing some training, I'm almost lvl 23 =)
